This law created a reduction to the state sales tax on Food & Food Ingredients. This class is a basic overview of the new law and the requirements for collecting the reduced rate. After completing this class, you should have a basic understanding of what the law does and understand the difference between food and food ingredients and prepared food. The goal is to help those that attend to have the tools in place to help them to identify foods that qualify for the state sales tax reduction. Be prepared to ask questions and take notes.
