Provides assistance to small business owned by women & minorities. Assistance consists of providing information & referrals to resources available for starting a business, financial & business management, & procurement opportunities.

Our office promotes business development with a focus on minority & women owned businesses. The office provides assistance by providing information & referrals in the following areas: procurement, contracting & subcontracting opportunities, financing, & business management. The office also partners with other business advocates to sponsor business education workshops & seminars. A statewide directory of certified minority & women-owned businesses is available on our website for those that have goals to contract with DBE, MBE, WBE and ACDBE businesses. The Statewide Certification Program is also administered by this office. This program is responsible for certifying disadvantaged, minority, & women-owned businesses as Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs), Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs), Women Business Enterprises (WBEs) and Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (ACDBEs). Qualifying businesses can increase their opportunities to gain contracts & subcontracts with governmental & private entities committed to the inclusion of disadvantaged, minority, & women-owned businesses in the contracting & procurement process.
