Jake Wayman and his wife, Regan are the proud owners of the three Orangetheory Fitness studios here in the Wichita community. East Wichita, West Wichita and Downtown Wichita opening in Summer 2023. Orangetheory has been their passion for several years and is part of their story. Regan has served as a Coach at Orangetheory since 2016 and Jake has been a member since 2018. In fact, Orangetheory is where they met and where Jake proposed, so owning it was the obvious next step.
The Wayman’s acquired the Orangetheory studios in January 2020 with their eyes set on growth, but the world had a different story. Navigating COVID-19 was difficult, but with that now in the past, Jake and Regan now lead a team of 30 with growth on the horizons with the opening of their third Orangetheory this summer.
Outside of their Orangetheory ownership, Jake works as an Employee Benefits Consultant for HUB helping employers build employee benefit strategies that help recruit and retain their employees.
Jake is also very active in the Wichita community. He currently serves as the President Elect of the Rotary Club of Wichita, Chair of the Salvation Army Advisory Board, Trustee for Leadership Wichita, and Honorary Commander for the 344th Air Refueling Squadron.
Beyond his non-profit involvement, Jake has always gravitated towards entrepreneurship. He helped found 1 Million Cups Wichita, Startup Grind Wichita, Shift ICT, Connecting ICT and was the founding Director of the e2e Accelerator (now known as NXTUS) where engaged with the launch of 20 different startup companies in the Wichita community.
Jake is also the proud recipient the 2023 Exception Young Leader Honor through the Wichita Chamber.
Jake and Regan have two boys, Ren and Jaxx; a golden retriever, Sammy; and a little girl due in July 2023!
