The Black MasterMind Group Charitable Foundation is hosting a Hard Hat Review for the Jireh Mall on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 2:30pm – 5:30pm CST.  The event will allow all to see the over 9000 sq ft facility located at 1111 N 5th St, KCK 66101 that will soon be the home of the Jireh Mall.  The Mall will be part of the organization’s efforts to increase entrepreneurship in Kansas City Kansas.  This is just one of the many endeavors taken on by the organization after winning a $1.4MIL grant from Kansas Department of Commerce.  The incubation program provides a 3 year commitment for entrepreneurs to establish their business, grow their customer base, and establish a financially solid business before their tenure in the incubator expires.  Once a student is ready to launch they will receive loan prep services, mentorship and coaching to create a sustainable business in the community.

The Black MasterMind Group Charitable Foundation is launching its capital campaign to raise $2.2MIL.  As part of the base grant requirements the organization successfully raised $466,666,67 toward the purchase of the building and paid off the mortgage on November 21, 2023.  Now it is set to receive an additional $800,000 to begin the interior and exterior renovations.  The capital campaign will provide equipment for the shared kitchen and salon businesses, along with additional funds for the exterior renovations.  The desire of the organization is to make the facility a landmark and tourist destination for those traveling to the Kansas City area.

The business owners in the Mall will present their businesses, sharing their story with potential investors, sponsors and community leaders. This event is a FREE Community Wide Event open to all to attend.

Road2Capital Event

On Saturday, December 16, 2023 the organization will host Summit Business Training Sessions, the Road2Capital event featuring banks, financial planners and credit repair experts. Those in attendance will have an opportunity to meet directly with the lenders and sponsors. The event will be held from 12:30-3:30 pm at the Residence Inn KCI Airport.
