We are a 3rd class city with a population of approximately 700 which struggles to bring in new business. December 3, 2010 our only grocery store burned to the ground and the owner has chosen not to rebuild. Our Council is very aware of the necessity to provide basic facilities within the community. Therefore, in order to bring a new store owner to the community we are requesting participation with the revolving loan fund. The new store owner is to break ground within the next 30 days.
