Kansas Patent & Trademark Resource Center

An information and learning center dedicated to assisting with understanding, searching, and obtaining patents and trademarks.

About

The Patent & Trademark Resource Center (PTRC) at Wichita State University Libraries is one of 84 PTRCs nationwide which provide educational outreach as affiliates of the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO). We serve the entire state of Kansas, making information on patents and trademarks freely available and supporting the diverse intellectual property needs of the public. We assist independent inventors, business owners and entrepreneurs, researchers, and students and faculty of Kansas universities. We provide services such as regularly scheduled free training workshops, presentations, one-on-one training and consultations, community outreach, and assistance in locating library materials. Patrons can contact us for assistance with understanding, searching, and filing for patent and trademark protection.
