The Chamber serves as the community’s business advocate, focusing on such issues as business taxation, streamlining local government, & transportation. The Chamber also joins with the city, county, & local agencies for community betterment including downtown development, leadership development, & community marketing. The Economic Development department(www.hutchecodevo.com)works with the city & county to assist existing businesses with retention & expansion & recruit new business to the area. Through the Convention Visitor’s Bureau, the Chamber also promotes tourism through marketing the community
