The Asian American Chamber of Commerce of Kansas City (AACC) was formed in 1998 as a non-profit organization dedicated to promote the interests of Asian American businesses. According to the 1997 Economic Census, the Greater Kansas City area has 1938 Asian American businesses employing 5,510 employees with annual sales of 649 million dollars. Asian Americans and their business community have made significant contributions to the local community in recent years. KCAACC Mission and Purpose To promote, support, and foster business, cultural and business relationships between members of the chamber, local and national corporations, and the general public. Serve as a vehicle and resource center for our members to network and market their products and services. To increase visibility of Asian American businesses among major corporations, local and state governments, and other business organizations To serve as a liaison between the state, county and local governments and members
