The City of Parsons Economic Development Department was created to facilitate balanced economic growth to enhance the quality of life in our community. We seek opportunities to create partnerships with enterprises that can augment our community’s diverse environment with high quality projects & businesses that conform to our future land use & redevelopment plans. The Economic Incentive Policy provides the tools that are necessary for growth & opportunities that would otherwise not be possible without the aid of the municipality. The City of Parsons may consider the use of economic incentives for the purposes of retention, expansion & attraction of business to Parsons. This program intends to be applied to businesses desiring to locate, expand or remain in Parsons. Incentives may include, but are not limited to: Industrial Revenue Bonds, Infrastructure Investment, Low Interest Loan Financing, Tax Increment Financing, Neighborhood Revitalization, Tax Abatement, Grants.
