Iron Clad Coworking – Wamego

Iron Clad Coworking is part of a global movement toward flexible professional work spaces.

About

Iron Clad Coworking is part of a global movement toward flexible professional work spaces.  Some examples of great coworking spaces include WeWork globally, Plexpod in KC, and The Fellow here in Manhattan.

In 1884, a three story limestone structure was built at 427 Lincoln Ave and over the years housed many businesses including the Kansas Agriculturist and Duckwalls.  In 2015, Darin and Heather Miller purchased this building and named it Iron Clad after some long gone businesses in Wamego called The Iron Clad Store and Iron Clad Lumber Co. In May of 2016, the coworking was open for business and in March of 2017, expanded to 407 Poyntz Ave in Manhattan.

The Iron Clad Coworking spaces are strategically positioned within the growing Flint Hills Economic Region along the Highway 24 & I-70 corridor which includes Wamego, Manhattan, Ft Riley, and Junction City and is home to some of the fastest growing counties in Kansas. There are many organizations nearby with unlimited potential including K-State Global CampusPurple WaveCivic Plus, and NBAF.  The Manhattan area includes nice hotel accommodations including the newly constructed Hilton Garden Inn.
