For employers: • Job Listings – Employers may advertise current workforce needs, at no cost, by listing available positions on-line both locally & nationally at www.kansasjoblink.com. • Interviewing – The Hays Workforce Center has space, equipped with phone, fax & copier available for interviewing prospective employees. Staff is available to schedule interview appointments. • Job Fairs – Space is available at the Hays Workforce Center for employer job fairs. • Assessment Services – Hays Workforce Center provides assessment, testing & screening of job applicants including typing, 10-key, data entry, spelling & math. • State & Federal Posters – Information on how to obtain state & federal posters required by law. Some posters are available at the Center. • Labor Market Information – This information may also be accessed through the “Labor Market” link at www.kansasjoblink.com. For Job Seekers: • Job Referrals are available when you are qualified for jobs listed with our office. • Internet Access is provided for self-service job searching – local, state & national jobs are listed on various Internet sites. Please check out www.kansasjoblink.com for our listing. • Assessment Services are available to help discover career interests, aptitudes, educational level & work values. • Job Counseling assists in making vocational choices for those having difficulty deciding which career is right for them. • Resume & Interview Preparation is available through self-service computer-based programs or through personalized service by our staff. • Job Search Workshops have been developed to assist in setting career goals, planning your job search, developing a resume & preparing for interviews. • Services to Veterans are available to all veterans – additional services may be available to veterans depending on disability status or time of active duty. • Unemployment Insurance-Individuals who believe they may be eligible for these benefits may request information on how to file a claim.
