Selected communities partner with NetWork Kansas to establish a locally-administered loan fund to assist entrepreneurs with capital, increase connectivity to resources available to assist entrepreneurs and small businesses, initiate activities to generate entrepreneurial development, and to participate in a statewide partnership with other E-Communities.

Once the loan fund is established, communities can engage in strategic planing, initiate activities and introduce entrepreneurship programming to generate entrepreneurial development. The end result is participation in a statewide partnership with other E-Communities to share best practices that can increase start-ups, engage existing businesses and facilitate transitions.

The goal of the E-Community partnership is to increase entrepreneurial activity and to develop a self-sustaining ecosystem favorable to long-term entrepreneurial growth.
