E-Community Students Compete in the Kansas Entrepreneurship Challenge State Championship

The Kansas Entrepreneurship Challenge (KEC) State Championship, hosted by the Kansas State University Center for the Advancement of Entrepreneurship, and sponsored by the Kansas Masonic Foundation, took place on April 24th and awarded high school entrepreneurs with over $18,000 in prize money. This statewide competition featured high school and middle school students from 35 Entrepreneurship (E-) Communities across Kansas.

Kansas Entrepreneurship Challenge awards $75,000 to student entrepreneurs

A statewide student entrepreneurship competition featuring 44 high school and 11 collegiate teams from across the state has awarded entrepreneurial-minded students with $75,000 in prize money. The Kansas Entrepreneurship Challenge gave students from around the state experience in the process of making a business proposal. The 5th annual event is organized by the Kansas State University Center for the Advancement of Entrepreneurship, was sponsored by the Kansas Masonic Foundation, and supported by Network Kansas.

700 KANSAS STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN YOUTH ENTREPRENEURSHIP CHALLENGE SERIES

NetWork Kansas’ Entrepreneurship (E-) Community Partnership announces the conclusion of the 2017-2018 Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge (YEC) Series. During the 2017-2018 academic year, 709 students from 35 Kansas communities participated in 31 local entrepreneurship competitions.
