NetWork Kansas Welcomes Rebecca Sweaney to its Entrepreneurship (E-) Community Partnership Team

Wichita, Kansas — Today, NetWork Kansas announced the hiring of Rebecca Sweaney as Product Manager for Rural Entrepreneurship, South Central Region. Sweaney supports the growth of the E-Community Partnership, providing on-the-ground resources and guidance for E-Communities in South Central Kansas.

Before joining NetWork Kansas, Sweaney is an entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience in managing and operating businesses. She is the Owner/Operator of Shear Hair & Beauty in Caney, KS, and Kane Kan Coffee, LLC. Rebecca focuses on implementing effective business strategies and ensuring customer satisfaction.

“I’m excited to join the NetWork Kansas team. I am eager to apply my experience in business development and community engagement to assist entrepreneurs across Kansas in seeing their visions become reality,” Sweaney stated.

She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing from Pittsburg State University in 2011 and is a licensed cosmetologist, having completed her training at Tri-County Technology in Bartlesville, OK.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Rebecca is devoted to her family and community. She and her husband, Phillip, are parents to two daughters, Dylann and Theryn, with whom they enjoy spending time outdoors, whether at the lake or on the softball field. The Sweaney family is actively involved in local events and values their close-knit ties to the community.
