The Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge is a one-day entrepreneurship competition open to students in grades 7-12 from a participating region of NetWork Kansas Entrepreneurship (E-) Communities.
2015 Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge Competitions:
In 2014, five E-Communities in northwest Kansas participated in the first annual regional YEC as part of a NetWork Kansas pilot program. Twenty students from five counties entered to participate after competing in a qualifying local e-fair. After submitting a business plan, students participated in two phases of competition: an elevator pitch competition and trade-show. Finalists made formal presentations to a panel of judges. More than $5,000 in cash awards were distributed. Learn more about the 2014 Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge.
