Youth Entrepreneurship Series Recap - 2016-2017

NetWork Kansas concluded the local-level of the 2016-2017 Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge (YEC) Series on March 22 with a record twenty-one community entrepreneurship competitions. The YEC Series consists of local-level youth entrepreneurship competitions hosted by volunteers. The goal of the competition is to expose Kansas middle school and high school students to entrepreneurship and to give students hands-on experience thinking entrepreneurially. Twenty-one local events in Kansas cities and counties will culminate in a state championship hosted at Fort Hays State University on April 24, 2017.

Independence Community College to host Ice House Entrepreneurship Program facilitator training

Independence, KS – This facilitator training event is organized by the Entrepreneurial Learning Initiative and hosted by Independence Community College. The Ice House Entrepreneurship Program is an experiential, problem-based learning program designed to inspire and engage participants in the fundamental aspects of an entrepreneurial mindset.

ICE HOUSE ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM LAUNCHES IN RICE COUNTY THIS MARCH

Sterling, KS – Rice County Economic Development, in association with the Network Kansas E-Community Partnership, announces the Ice House Entrepreneurship Program will be offered in Rice County this March. Sessions will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 PM on Tuesdays, March 28th through April 18th with a program fee of $20 per person. The goal of the course is to teach participants to develop an entrepreneurial mindset.

7 Businesses Receive Funding from NetWork Kansas During February

By NetWork Kansas | March 8, 2017 --- During the month of February, seven new businesses received NetWork Kansas funding through the StartUp Kansas and E-Community programs. Congratulations!

By NetWork Kansas | February 5, 2017 --- During the month of January, 11 new businesses received NetWork Kansas funding through the Capital Multiplier, StartUp Kansas and E-Community programs. Congratulations!

Steps for Requesting E-Community Funds


1. Review the E-Community Checklist of required documents to request E-Community funds

2. Complete the Initial Report and Check Request Form

3. Obtain the client's signature on the Marketing Release of Information and Progress Report Form

4. Scan and email completed documents required from the checklist to: kpedersen@networkkansas.com

5. If you do not receive a response within 3 or 4 days via email, call Kristi Pedersen at (316) 425-8808 to ensure documents were received
