Greeley County Overview

Unified Greeley County, a rural western Kansas community, is located 45 minutes south of I-70 along the Kansas-Colorado border and is home to the cities of Horace and Tribune.  Often described as progressive-minded, Greeley County is widely known for its expansive health-care opportunities, its innovative approach to government, and prime agricultural land.  A technology-strong (1:1 student to computer ratio 6-12 grades) educational system offers personalized attention to the county’s students, while local business specialize in individual service and meeting area needs. Greeley County was designated as an E-Community by the Kansas Center for Entrepreneurship in 2009 and looks forward to making its first E-Community loan.
