Anderson County

Anderson County was one of the first six communities selected to become an Entrepreneurship Community (E-Community) in 2007.  It has a diverse culture with strong Amish, German Baptist, and Mennonite heritage within its farming communities. Agri-tourism efforts are currently underway to help the farmers and ranchers of the county market their goods and services.  You’ll find a buggy-maker, berry and bee farm, organic chickens, elk farm and quilter’s paradise—and more—all in rural Anderson County. Based on a population of 8,051, Anderson County ranks 48th of the 105 counties in Kansas.
